The Dallas Division is created to provide an environment in the Dallas area dedicated to the continual development of youth players who demonstrate commitment, sportsmanship, talent and desire to excel in soccer. With the support of the ownership management team, and professional staff Texas Titans F.C. is serious about developing and implementing a comprehensive system for training and development for all members. The Club is committed to provide an environment to maximize players individual talent within a team concept and at the same time provide additional professionally organized programs that concentrate on enhancing player development, coaching education and parent education, so that all can participate at various levels of competition and have the opportunities to consistently grow and develop within the sport of soccer. For young players ages 7-11, Texas Titans Dallas Academy will be implementing a pool training structure, and a modular progressive curriculum that fosters development that is age specific, but more importantly player specific. With some new exciting programs to be implemented starting in March within the Academy, the growth, and quality of the training will continue in a way that truly benefits a developing player. For players ages 11-19, the Titans Dallas club will be made up of teams that will compete in Dallas Fort-Worth and to showcases to compete in some of the best leagues this nation has to offer. With increased support aimed at providing the best training environment possible- the competitive program within the Titans Dallas division has a bright future ahead. Titans Dallas Division will seek to provide player’s with maximum exposure to obtain college scholarship opportunities, along with state, regional, national, and international playing opportunities. The newly formed Titans Dallas Division is ready to begin and the future is bright with so many innovative programs beginning with the Academy age players. Programs are aimed at teaching life lesions well beyond the field, while maximizing development and performance on the field. Scott Foster will be heading up Titans Dallas Division as the Director of Coaching. Scott has been coaching soccer for the past 19 years. For 11 years Scott coached for the Dallas Texans S.C. and was an instrumental part in the growth of the Dallas Texans West division, starting with six teams and expanding to well over 40 during his time with the club. Scott currently holds his USSF National ‘C’ License and also has a B.S. degree in Exercise Sports Science from Texas Wesleyan University. |
