Titans ’96 West won the Dr. Pepper Fair Play tournament this past weekend. The team went 1-0-2 in group play with a 3-0 victory to open the tournament against Liverpool FC ’96. A win and two ties placed Titans second in their bracket, which sent them to the semifinals where they would face Lake Worth United. In a close hard fought match, Titans came away with the 1-0 win and a spot in the championship game.

In the Championship match, Titans converted on two of their scoring opportunities and their solid defense held up to beat 16 Amigos, 2-0, and win the 2009 Dr. Pepper Fair Play Tournament. Congratulations Titans ’96 West and we wish you continued success throughout the soccer year.
